I wanted to reach out regarding our upcoming (National) Panda Express fundraiser on May 6th, 2026. Our previous one did well and raised more than $300. 

We learned from our previous initiative that more outreach could have been executed and we thought a great way was to reach out and ask you to support us by sending the flier to your loved ones, family, close friends, colleagues, former and current coworkers, etc. as any Panda location in the nation will support the fundraiser.

Our goal is to raise more than $1000 this time around and we genuinely think we can do so with power in numbers. All proceeds will go toward supporting our cohort events, resources, but most importantly assisting underserved communities. We are currently raising money to help out an organization in the area known as CALM. CALM's mission is to “prevent childhood trauma, heal children and families, and build resilient communities throughout Santa Barbara County."

We have three set-in-stone initiatives with CALM. These include:

1) Mothers Day Baskets for mothers part of CALM's program(s)

2) Summer Kits for kids part of CALM

3) Backpacks filled with school supplies for kids part of CALM

These separate plans are just 3 of the many ways we plan on supporting our community.
