My name is Thomas Robinson, and I am a registered nurse currently pursuing a master’s degree in Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Walden University. I am currently seeking a Psychiatric NP preceptor and clinical site to complete practicum requirements for Fall 2025 (August 25, 2025, to November 7, 2025). The practicum requires 160 hours over at least 8 weeks, with a minimum of 80 patient encounters documented. I am eager to learn and committed to providing quality care under your guidance. I also understand that preceptors often dedicate significant time and effort to guiding students, and I am willing to discuss a supervision fee for your time and expertise.
Thomas can be reached at 909-567-4182 or via mcbsocal@gmail.com or thomas.robinson1@waldenu.edu to discuss this opportunity further.
My name is Frances Wheeler, and I am a family nurse practitioner student with United States University in San Diego, California.
I am seeking a board-certified nurse practitioner (with over one year experience) or a medical doctor to mentor/precept me during clinical hours that are approximately 8-12 hours per day and 2 days per week for eight weeks. The goal is to meet the requirements of 135 hours during an eight-week clinical rotation. Fortunately, I can meet that goal by combining up to three different preceptors so even if you are unable to commit to the full 135 hours any amount of time per rotation is appreciated as long as I can find another preceptor to fill in the gap and I do have one that is available so it is an option.
Would you be interested in being a clinical preceptor?
The next rotation starts:
09/02/2025 to 10/27/2025
If this date does not work, I have three consecutive rotations I also need filled if they work better for your schedule. The alternative eight-week rotations are:
10/28/2025 – 12/22/2025
01/06/2026 – 03/02/2026
03/03/2026 – 04/27/2026
I greatly value the opportunity to learn from an experienced professional and would be honored to collaborate. Your expertise would be instrumental in helping me develop as a compassionate healthcare provider. Additionally, my university provides a range of benefits for preceptors. You can learn more about these offerings on our website https://www.usuniversity.edu/preceptor-resources-hub .
I have included my resume/CV for you to review and look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
